Raw Puer (Sheng Puer, Green Puer) is a strong natural energy drink with bright rich taste and tonic effect. Raw Puer is called Sheng, that means “green”, "raw", “vivid” ，“uncok" in Chinese. The bouquet of the tea depends on the quality of raw materials, the growing region and the aging. However, a quality raw Puer always can be recognized by the characteristic "compote of dried fruits" tone in a bouquet, a nice refreshing astringency and a sweet aftertaste. The raw Puerh generally have a tonic effect. As tea is older, the taste is milder and more interesting. We do not recommend drinking raw Pu erh at night, unless you are going to stay awake until the morning. Usually raw pu-erh is sold in cakes. But today it is a tribute to the tea tradition rather than necessity. Qi Zi Bing,七子饼茶 “Seven brothers” is one of the most famous and ancient Puer package. Seven tea cakes were joined into one package, tong 筒, and braided by bamboo leaves. The journey of this package to the destination place could take a year or longer.
